A very unique Alaskan landscape. Coastal Brown Bears at Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, in Alaska. The mother in the foreground is showing her two young cubs how to dig for clams in the tidal basin. Note the patiently waiting gulls; they are unable to dig the clams out of the mud so they are waiting for leftovers from what the bears find and eat.
